Mixit Print Studio is a professional monoprint/intaglio studio located near Davis Square in Somerville, Massachusetts. Established in 1987 as a direct outgrowth of our previous cooperative printmaking workshop, Artist's Proof, our goal was to put together a well-equipped professional studio and to foster a supportive and interactive community of printmakers/artists.

Years of experience and careful thought have gone into planning and improving our 1300 square feet of space. Our 40” x 70” American French Tool press and our 30” x 60” LeDeuil cast iron press are supplemented by a 18” x 30” Ettan press. Vent hoods, moveable fans, and many windows provide ventilation. Large tables and counters provide surfaces for both "clean hands" and "dirty hands" work. We have a metal sheer, an aquatint box, a light exposure set-up and a custom designed forced-air print dryer. The Mixit Print Studio provides solvents, rags, flat and cubby storage. Each artist is responsible for inks, paper, plates, blotters, and personal supplies. RENTAL STRUCTURE  
 

Nine Month Members
• $1080 for nine months (September–May)
• Payment is due in three installments of $360 by the first of September, December, and March. Please pay on time and make checks out to Jane Goldman, not Mixit Print Studio.
• If you are leaving for the summer months but wish to commit for the September–May schedule, a deposit of $150 submitted by June 1 will hold a place for you in September.

Summer Schedule
The schedule loosens up in the summer months.

• Nine Month Members may continue through the summer at the regular rate of $360 for three months.
• Additional days are $30 a day.
• If you want to book five consecutive days (compressing your time to allow for vacations) contact Cathy for availability.

Three Month, One Time, Irregular, and Occasional Rentals
• Single day: $100
• Single week (five consecutive days with others in the studio): $375
• Entire studio for a single week (five days): $750
• SIngle month (four days): $250
• Three months: $400

Storage Fee
There is a storage fee of $20 per month for your bin and drawer when you are not actively working in the studio. This is contingent on not needing the storage for others who are actively working in the studio.
