WORKSHOPS AT MIXIT PRINT STUDIO
Workshops take place at Mixit Print Studio approximately four times a year. They are an opportunity to strengthen connections and to introduce new ways of working and thinking about prints. Some of the workshops which have taken place in the past few years include:

Bio:
Catherine Kernan has been an exhibiting artist-printmaker for nearly 25 years. She has been an art instructor for just as long, having held many faculty positions at colleges, art institutes and museums. She has taught numerous workshops throughout the eastern U.S., as well as other regions and countries. She has received many fellowships and grants including the Visual Artist Grant from the Somerville Arts Council, Artist in Residence Grant from the Winchester Foundation for Educational Excellence, and the Artist's Resource Trust Fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation Grant.

Bio:
Jane Goldman is a painter/printmaker and public artist. She has taught at MassArt, UCLA, and Hartford Art School, and is co-director of Mixit Print Studio in Somerville, MA. Her work is in the collections of the Peabody Essex Museum, the Library of Congress, and the Boston Athenaeum. Her public commissions are at Logan Airport in Boston and the Kennedy Center in Providence, RI.
